On the back of device there is a input voltage selector so will know what power coming in. I realized this when charging my phone through it, the would charge much faster int he outlet's. You can also add outlet converters to change the shape of suit your plug, because other countries have different standards than us. With no change to power or risk your device.
You unscrew a compartment on the back, pop old one out, new in and its good to go. I used all of the above mentioned devices with this exact converter in Africa, so can vouch that it will work.
